JPAAP Welcomes New Editor

The Journal of Perspectives in Applied Academic Practice is pleased to appoint Dr Barbara Kensington-Miller to our team of Editors. Barbara brings an international perspective to the journal and joins us from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where she is a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Learning and Research in Higher Education.

In keeping with the journal’s ethos of providing publishing support for new authors and reviewers, Barbara is experienced in supporting early-career academics and leads the University of Auckland’s Induction Programme to Teaching and Learning, as well as a Peer Mentoring Programme for new academics. Barbara’s recent research interests include studying ways to improve teaching and learning in large undergraduate mathematics lectures, and how this can be transferred to other disciplines.
